Geoscientist Gigapan Opportunity

posted in Geology, GigaPan, Photography |

If any of you are interested in getting in on a pilot program for geologists to explore scientific applications of Gigapan photography please let me know, as I may be able to get two or three of you involved in the second phase of the program. You’d need to be able to attend a workshop on May 23-24, 2008 in Estes Park, Colorado.

I am definitely interested in this. I think that this is after my classes get out. I also have other commitments out that way in early June that might make this convenient. I think that what I would do with it is either study Trail Ridge here in south Georgia or the Ocmulgee River floodplain. I have ongoing research in both areas.
